Get on stage
Auditions & casting calls
You don't need a resume, a headshot, or years of training - just the nerve to try. MOCO casts neighbors of every age and background. Here's what we're casting now.

Be ready
What to prepare
A little prep goes a long way - but nerves are welcome here.
For everyone
Come as you are. Wear something you can move in, and bring a list of any dates you can't make.
For musicals & plays
Prepare 16 bars of a song (backing track optional), a monologue under 60 seconds, or cold-read from a provided script.
New to this?
First-timers are the whole point
More than half of every MOCO cast has never auditioned before. We hold relaxed, supportive auditions - often with a friend or parent in the room - and there's a place for people who'd rather build sets, run sound, or sew costumes than step on stage.
Not ready to step on stage? MOCO always needs help backstage with sets, sound, lighting, and costumes - no audition required.
